Meadowthorpe Senior Housing

Meadowthorpe Senior Housing is a new construction, 71-unit, affordable apartment building for seniors 55+ in the Meadowthorpe neighborhood of Lexington, KY. The project began construction in January 2019 and was completed in early 2020.

This development includes one- and two-bedroom units, a community room, fitness room, raised gardens and outdoor walking paths. All units will be designated as affordable housing, the driving force behind the majority of AU Associates’ endeavors. These luxury apartments will come equipped with energy efficient appliances, central heating and air, extra storage, a secure building access control system, and modern interior aesthetics.

This project was the successful collaboration to create affordable housing by the following partners: CAHEC, Riverhills Bank, the City of Lexington Affordable Housing Fund and Kentucky Housing Corporation.
